Growing Number of Catholic Bishops Support Bishop Banning Pelosi From Holy Communion

More and more Bishops are in support of the ban.

A growing number of Catholic Bishops support Archbishop Salvatore in his banning House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from receive Holy Communion due to her public support of abortion, in contradiction with the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Banning someone from receiving the Eucharist is the Church’s statement that they are not in full communion with the Catholic Church in their beliefs or actions, and only happens when someone is very publicly contradicting the Faith. The purpose of this ban is to both prevent the scandal of other Catholics, as well as to call the individual to repentance in order to reinstate communion with God and the Church.
